Fifth Sunday in Lent

FIFTH SUNDAY IN LENT, APRIL 03, 2022                          Scripture Reading: John 12:1–8

Additional Scriptures: Psalm 126; Isaiah 43:16–21; Philippians 3:4b–14

Comfort Thy people, O Lord, and deliver us from the evil captivity of sin, that what we sow here in tears, we may reap in joy through Thy bounty; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with Thee and the Holy Ghost, One God, world without end. Amen.[2]
Almighty God, You alone can bring into order the unruly wills and affections of sinners: Grant Your people grace to love what You command and desire what You promise; that, among the swift and varied changes of the world, our hearts may surely there be fixed where true joys are to be found; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen[3]
