Our objective is always to serve our neighbors as our community attempts to prevent the unnecessary spread of COVID-19
Our Wyneken School currently has suspended all in-person instruction until April 13 Students will continue their education through home based instruction. The Center for Disease Control CDC along with our president has urged that for the next two weeks all US events of 10+ persons should be cancelled or held virtually.
The Elders of our parish will be meeting shortly to determine the best way to move forward.
We have an obligation under the Fourth Commandment to obey those in authority and cooperate with the directives of local, state, and national governments.
We have an obligation under the Fifth Commandment to serve our neighbor in love. Life and physical health are precious gifts entrusted to us by God. We must take reasonable care of them, taking into account the needs of others and the common good.

These are unprecedented circumstances. We are not given to panic but to commend ourselves to the love and care of Christ. To that end, care for each other. Pray. Serve your neighbor.
