Sycamores in the Post Season

Arch Madness is now over. The Missouri Valley Conference Tournament concludes in St. Louis today with ISU going to the BIG DANCE!. The Sycamores have done all they could under first year coach Lansing. Let's go dancing!

Sycamores Win!

Henry's been at Indiana State the past five years and they have won two games!

The Indiana State Sycamores used a pair of touchdown runs by sophomore quarterback Ryan Roberts to end the nation's longest losing streak at 33 games with a thrilling 17-14 come-from-behind victory over Western Illinois on Homecoming in front of 6,028 fans at electric Memorial Stadium.

Hank's freshman year they shocked the world beating IU as the students storm the floor

In four years State managed to win only one game but Henry attended every home game!

Congratulations Henry!

Henry has been accepted into the Masters' program at Indiana State University. He will be studying for a MA in Criminology. He'll go through commencement on May 9, and start his internship on May 11 at the Monroe County Probation Department. After the internship he will graduate in August with a double major in Psychology and Criminology and then he'll be "officially" accepted into the program.

The MA program at ISU is 36 hours. Thirty hours of class work plus a 6 hour internship. He can take 15 hours each semester and finish after a second summer internship. Hank just can't get enough of "the Haute!" He can get his degree in a year on campus or take classes on line and finish up in two years. So if a job offer were to come his way he would have a number of options with which to choose. Way to go Hank!

Henry's last day at Camp

Today is Henry's last day at Camp Lutherhaven. He'll come home tomorrow. After church we'll take off for a few days in Chicago before he packs up to go back to Terre Haute.

Hank will be a senior this year. The time has gone by quickly. He's done a great job and picked a school that is perfect for him. From our experience ISU has been "More. From day one." My two sisters who live out of state are coming into town next weekend. Should be an interesting week!
