The Seventh Commandment.
You shall not steal.
What does this mean?
Answer - We should fear and love God that we may not take our
neighbor's money or property, nor get them by false ware or dealing, but help
him to improve and protect his property and business [that his means are
preserved and his condition is improved].
God does not want us to do wrong to others by taking things
that don’t belong to us. Instead He wants us to improve and protect our
neighbor’s livelihood, and business. We are to protect others just as He
protects us in our life.
Almighty God, grant us a steadfast faith in Jesus Christ, a
cheerful hope in Your mercy, and a sincere love for You and one another;
through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
