Tuesday, March 8, 2016 Thy Will Be Done

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

All things work together for good. Even the “accidents” of history are God working for our good. Called according to His purpose. God planned our salvation in advance. Purpose. The Spirit, in history, has called us by the Gospel.[1]

How is God’s will done in our lives? God’s will is done when He strengthens and keeps us firm in His Word and faith and helps us lead God-pleasing lives. He supports us in all our troubles until we die. [2]

O God, with you is the well of life, and in your light, we see light: Quench our thirst with living water, and flood our darkened minds with heavenly light; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.[3]
