A Journey of Faith

Today marks the beginning of our pilgrimage through the season of Lent. It is a spiritual journey as we walk with the Savior observing His passion, suffering, death and resurrection. This year we will review some of the great stories from the Bible from both the Old and New Testaments. As we review these numerous experiences in the story of God’s dealings with His own we will discover that the Lord was always in the background shaping and molding the events of people’s lives. Though they did not always recognize His presence, the Lord was always there. Though they often felt they were going through life alone God had never abandoned His people even in the most lonely times.

As you begin this Lenten journey, this pilgrimage of faith, I pray you will discover that the Lord Himself too is directing your life. The cross and empty tomb is always at the center of everything we do. To the many volunteers, who worked on this project we thank you for your efforts. May the Lord accompany us as we enter this Journey of Faith.
